Where is Langtang ?
Langtanag is located at North of Kathmandu valley and border of Tibet. The
Langtang valley is in central Nepal, around 19 miles north side. Although near Kathmandu, closer than some other trek, this is more or less wild.
Transportaition
To start Langtang hiking, you have to drive Kathmandu to Syabru Besi. We can get public buses at New Buspark of Kathmandu to go Syabru Besi. We can also rent a Jeep or Car for our destination. But the public bus takes more time than private jeep or car. I recommended you take a private Jeep. Back from Kyanjing Gumpa is also the same route.

Best Season For Trek
The best season for Trekking to Lantang Region is October-November and March-May. At these occasions the climate is mellow and by and large dry, making the strolling conditions great.
