Khopra is Name of Place and Danda is Nepali word of Ridge. So Ridge = Danda in the sense of meaning. It is the highest elevation(3660m/12008ft) place that we need to stay one night and Khayar lake hiking spot from the ridge.

Next day morning, we will doKhayer Lake Hike. Khayer is is a holy lake. So people also called Khayar trek is a holy trek. Local people used to go Khayar Lake for worship. On the way to Khayar Lake, you’ll see outstanding views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fang, and Nilgiri. View from Khopra Danda and on the way to Khayer Lake is marvelous. We will be close to Annapurna South on the way to Khayar Lake. We can begin this trek from Deurali, Ghorepani or Tadapani of Ghorepani Poon Hill trek.
